WELLCARE developed new Mechanical Packer, WC-MECHPRO-S
The WELLCARE Mechanical Straight Set down Production Packer model WC-MECHPRO-S is mechanical packer designed for situations where it is not possible to rotate tubing string to install packer. This packer can be installed and uninstalled just by reciprocating movement of string. It is used for production as well as stimulation operation. It is can be landed in compression, tension or neutral condition.

- No Tubing Rotation: Packer can be installed by axial movement of string.
- Easy unsetting: Packer can be easily unset by tensioning the string.
- Double Grip: The Packer equipped with slips on both side to restrict its movement.
- High performance: Three-piece element system for high pressure sealing and pressure reversal loads.
- Spring Support: Backup springs behind slips to keep them intact with mandrel and thus stopping from biting the casing during running in.
- Expandable Support: Packing elements are surrounded by expandable supports which decreases extrusion gap.
